The American Samoa Department of Health confirmed there are 15 cases in Manu’a; 1 in Ta’u village and 14 in Faleasao.
The 93KHJ reported that personnel from DOH, and the federal team along with medical supplies have been sent to Manu’a to help contain the community spread
The total number of Covid cases for all of American Samoa as of this morning was 5,812 of which all but 101 cases have recovered.
The number of Covid related deaths is 27.
The latest death was a 61-year-old woman who had Covid-pneumonia and had heart problems, She was admitted on April 19 and died on May 1st.
