The Ministry of Customs and Revenue has warned members of the business community that anyone who operates a business without the required Business Licence will be prosecuted under the provisions of the Business Licences Act 1998.
Also the due date for renewal of your 2023 Business Licence is now extended to the 28th of February 2023.
This is one of the major complaints by business owners regarding the renewal of business licenses due to the new requirements.
All business licences issued for the year 2022 expired on 31st December 2022. Businesses must renew their 2023 business licences prior to the end of the extension granted.
A late payment penalty of $200 will be imposed on any business licence.
