As of August 28th to September 4th, 50 positive COVID19 cases were registered with the Ministry of Health.
This takes the cumulative number of COVID-19 positive cases (community/border) to 15,889. Of this number, 15,710 are community cases, and 179 are border cases since November 2020.

There are 5 cases currently in managed isolation at Moto’otua Hospital and none at the ICU. According to the Ministry of Health, the total number of COVID-19 positive cases admitted to TTM Hospital since community transmission in March 17, 2022 – 335 admissions Total number of cases discharged from TTM hospital – 303 discharged home.
This seven-day rolling average report includes trends of positive cases since March 17th of this year, when the first community case was confirmed. It also provides current rates of our national COVID-19 vaccination.
The number of Covid related deaths in the Country remains at 29.
