One of the mandates for the Attorney General’s office is to ensure the protection of rights of the children who are victims of violence,” said Attorney General Su’a Hellene Wallwork during their visit to the Campus of Hope at Tuanaimato.
This was confirmed in a statement issued by the Samoa Victim Support Group.
“It was a colourful day at the campus of Hope with the feeling of thankfulness felt in the hearts of every child as Attorney General Su’a Hellene Wallwork and her office visited the children to mark this day for all public servants in the country.
“They donated four large hampers as a symbol of their love towards every young victim of whatever form of violence.
“On the other side, young boys and girls at the shelter touched the hearts of the visitors through dances and emotional singing that led to tears being shed.”
The SVSG acknowledged the office of the Attorney General for reaching out to us and the children housed at the center.
The visitors include Piisila Tikeri, Iliganoa Atoa, Malia Halapio, Leitu Moananu, Timothy Fesili, Joseph Samoana, Jordan Katopau and Attorney General Su’a Hellene Wallwork.
