American Samoa has recorded its third fatality in relation to COVID 19, a 70-year-old man.
Talanei reported the Chairman of the COVID-19 Task Force Lieutenant Governor Talauega Eleasalo Ale announced during its virtual press conference this week that Samoa recorded its third Covid-related death.
The second death was a 55-year-old woman who was at the end stage of kidney failure but had refused dialysis treatment since October last year and the first COVID death, was a 44-year-old man who passed away at home.
The tally of COVID cases in American Samoa as of March 26 was 3,381. There were 10 patients in the COVID ward.
In a press conference with the American Samoa media, Talauega expressed sympathies to the mourning families on behalf of the American Samoa Government.
