Today BlueWave Wireless formerly known as Netvo will be launching its Wi-Fi connectivity to all schools across Savai’i, including black spots on the island.
This was confirmed by Chief Operating Officer Togisala Tony Leota in an exclusive interview with Radio Polynesia.
He said this will grant access to educational resources and affords the ability for students to do research and check emails.
The first constituency to get their wifi connectivity is Gagaifomauga #3 and from there Blue Wave will proceed to other schools.
Togisala assured its a safe learning environment for students as they will provide a filtration that will block any inappropriate content sites and a demonstration will be conducted live during the launching.
He acknowledged this has been the biggest concern raised about the BlueWave Wireless Wi-Fi connectivity project.
