The traffic division of the Ministry of Police and Prisons is investigating a vehicle that crashed into Seafood Gourmet today at Matautu.
One of the popular eateries near the Sea Port, seen in the photo was that many people were at the restaurant when the traffic accident occurred.
Police Commissioner Auapa’au Logoitino Filipo told Radio Polynesia that he was unable to make any comments on details other than confirming they are investigating this matter.
The photo indicated that the vehicle ran into one of the restaurant’s poles and that kept it from heading inside the dining area.
Also, the Seafood Gourmet sign was ddue tosult of the crash.
