The number of COVID-19 cases in American Samoa continues to increase.
The latest update from the American Samoa Department of Health says as of March 01, 2022, a total of 214 Covid tests were conducted and 9 individuals tested positive.
This brings the total number of Covid-19 cases to 94, according to Talanei News.
Of the 9 individuals who tested positive, 7 were fully vaccinated.
The vaccination status of the remaining 2 individuals has yet to be confirmed.
There are no reported hospitalizations or deaths related to COVID-19.
