CEO of SNPF informed he was not shortlisted

The outgoing Chief Executive Officer of the Samoa National Provident Fund Pauli Prince Suhren, was informed yesterday that his application to the CEO position was not shortlisted.

The letter which is endorsed by the Chief Executive Officer of the Ministry of Public Enterprises, Tooala Elita is widely shared online dated 30 May, confirming receiving Pauli’s application. 

However the selection panel for the position considered and assessed Pauli’s application against the CEO position and concluded that his application was not shortlisted. 

Pauli was first appointed in 2017 to the position; he holds a Master of Business and Information Technology (MBIT) from Bond University in Australia complemented by a Bachelor of Business and Information Management, (BBIM) double major in Accounting and IT Management.

A former Financial System Administrator and Manager of Special Projects with SamoaTel, Pauli served as ACEO with the Development Bank before being appointed as SNPF Chief Executive in 2017.

The SNPF position was first advertised in January this year, with a deadline in February, however, it was re-advertised earlier this month.
