A church minister is facing one count of negligence driving causing death, this is in relation to a traffic accident that occurred in Tapatapao.
Police Commissioner Auapaau Logoitino Filipo told Radio Polynesia the church Minister was behind the wheel during the accident that led to the death of the 18-year-old.
As reported earlier Police confirmed there were three passengers in the vehicle driven by a Church Minister, which was suspected to be speeding and veered off the main road last Wednesday and led to the tragic death of one of its passengers.
The Church Minister is scheduled to appear in the Supreme Court for mention next month, on the 5th of June.
He is out on bail with the conditions that he signs at the Faleata Police Office twice a week.
