Close to $10,000 was approved by the previous administration to “finance the end of contract benefit for the CEO of the Ministry of Health.”
This was approved by Cabinet as per directive 19-26 and outlined in the Public Accounts for the financial year 2020.
This report was officially submitted to Parliament as per statute this year in January, when the FAST administration took over.
According to the public accounts, a total of $9,680 was the payout for Leausa Dr Take Naseri. At the moment Leausa is on leave while the public service commission has advertised the Director-General position.
It is unclear whether Leausa has reapplied for the position that he held in the last six years.
