Up to 200 Police officers have been allocated as security detail for the American Samoa Government delegation consisting of 88 people.

They include ASG leaders, the Speaker of the House, representatives, directors, governor special advisors, deputy directors and staff of the governor’s office in Samoa for the Atoa o Samoa executive talks, held on Thursday and Friday.

This was confirmed by Deputy Police Commissioner Papalii Monalisa Keti during the weekly media press conference.

She said the officers serve as their protective details and drivers working 24-7 to ensure the “safety” of the delegation and its normal procedures for the Ministry of Police and Prisons when they have delegations from overseas.
