This was confirmed by the Ministry of Justice and Courts Administration Chief Executive Officer, Moliei Simi Vaai in a statement issued.

“Urgent matters will be of priority. “All court matters which were scheduled but adjourned on account of the lockdown, and those due to be heard in the next few days, are rescheduled for hearing in the coming weeks.

“New dates will be advised in due course.”

The Supreme Court Call-Over will be held on Thursday, at 9.30 am to set cases for the next four weeks.

According to Mrs Vaai, all other court events for Land and Titles Court, Probation, Parole and Maintenance are rescheduled to new dates to be advised by the registry.

“It is mandatory for everyone attending the court premises to wear a mask, produce a vaccine card with photo identification and observe 2m social distance.

“Non-compliance with this notice can result in refusal of entry into the court building.”
