In the last two years, Digicel Samoa has invested close to $10 million tala in upgrading its network, with more coverage.

This is in line with the pandemic of coronavirus, to ensure their customers are able to remain in contact with families and friends overseas; and with the current lockdown in the Country, it’s perfect for entertainment.

The Digicel Samoa Chief Executive Officer Seiuli Deepak Khanna urges their clients to utilise Digicel’s online services through their apps that are available on their mobile devices.

The apps make it easier for the public to tune into radio and tv to get updated information from relevant authorities on the COVID-19.

Digicel made special mention of the “MyCash” app” which gives Samoans access to digital money, to top up EPC cash power and allows the customers to receive money from abroad, make payments as well as pay bills, all from the comfort and safety of their phone wherever they are.

In an interview with Radio Polynesia, Seiuli confirmed they also launched a new “credit you or credit me” feature for the public’s convenience, with the notion to avoid public places.

Adding that there are a number of Digicel apps that can be enjoyed from their phones.
