The FAST candidates won all three seats during last week’s by-elections for the Siumu, Faleata 4, and Vaa o Fonoti constituencies.
The by-elections were triggered when Ale Vena Ale, Tuuu Anasi’i Leota, and Mau’u Siaosi Pu’epu’emai resigned from the opposition Human Rights Protection Party (HRPP) last November due to internal matters.
Then, the MPs resigned from parliament and were later endorsed as FAST candidates.
For Faleata No.4 Ale Vena Ale has 867 votes, while Ulu Bismarck Crawley garnered 396 ballots. Vaa o Fonoti: Mau’u Siaosi Pu’epu’emai got 737; Leausa Dr. Take Naseri has 201 and Feutagaiimealelei O. S. Brown with 32 votes.
For Siumu, Tu’u’u Anasi’i Leota received 599, Tu’u’u Amaramo Sialaoa 184, and Faalogo Kapeli Faalogo Lafaele had 505 votes.
