A Palisi man has been charged with murder over the death beating of his 12-year-old son.
Police Commissioner Auapa’au Logoitino Filipo said the man assaulted his son with a broomstick and the child died as a result due to the severity of the injuries.
He also used the opportunity to remind parents that disciplining while angry does not lead to anything good.
According to the Commissioner, this unfortunate incident has taken the life of a young child and all due to lack of control over one’s self.
“Im certain the father did not expect that this would be the end result, but anger does that.”
