The Human Rights Protection Party has two candidates for the upcoming by-election for the Constituency of Gagaifomauga No.2.
This was announced by the Deputy Leader of the HRPP, Fonotoe Pierre Lauofo during a press conference yesterday.
He said the Constituency has endorsed two candidates, Sooalo Poka and Sooalo Mene.
Today is the last day for nomination for the by-election scheduled on 3 June.
According to Fonotoe, Sooalo Poka is an educator and is currently serving the village and church by way of service and is also a talking chief.
Sooalo Mene, was the former Member of Parliament and lost his seat to the Late Associate Minister Vaele Iona Sekuini, who passed away in March, which led to the vacant seat of the Constituency.
So’oalo Mene is the former Associate Minister of Justice and Courts Administration.
