If an agreement is reached, inter-Samoa flights would resume next week.

Dr Elizabeth Lauvao reports that the Department of Health is holding discussions with their counterparts in Samoa with the hope that inter Samoa travel will resume next week, according to 93KHJ reports.

A slide shown during her presentation yesterday said travellers from Samoa will be limited to 40 per week.

All travellers intending to travel to American Samoa are advised to begin making arrangements with the American Samoa Government at least 7 days before the planned travel date.

They must register on TalofaPass and upload required documents: Covid-19 vaccination card and valid travel documents (e.g. passport, Certificate of Identification) 7 days before departure.

They must also apply to the American Samoa Immigration Office for an entry permit and OK Board at www.legalaffairs.as.gov.

They must have a completed DOH Health Clearance Form to be signed by a licensed physician in Samoa within one week of travel.
