Man arrested as a result of a drug raid in Motootua

A 46-year-old male was arrested in relation to a search warrant executed by the Ministry of Police and Prisons on Saturday 27th May 2023 at Motootua.
The operation resulted in the seizure of illicit narcotics (suspected methamphetamine, cash, utensils, ammunition and electronic devices.
A 46 year old male was arrested and charged with possession of narcotics and is currently remanded in custody until the 12th June 2023 for mention.
The success of this operation serves as a warning to other individuals engaging in illegal narcotics activity and SPPCS will continue to work to disrupt and dismantle illegal drug operations in Samoa.
