Two men implicated in the alleged assault of a taxi driver at knifepoint have been charged by the Police. The incident occurred in Faga Savaii two weeks ago.
This was confirmed by Police Commissioner Auapa’au Logoitino Filipo in response to Radio Polynesia questions.
This follows a video that went viral online of the alleged assault, one man threatened the driver with a knife while the other was recording the incident.
The driver managed to escape and reported the matter to the Police soon thereafter.
