A Fogapoa man charged with the murder of a man and his son in Savaii last month made his initial appearance during criminal mention yesterday.
Aui’a Fereti Moefiti 54 is facing two counts of murder in addition to grievous bodily harm, armed with a dangerous weapon, and possession of an unlawful firearm.
The accused appeared before Supreme Court Justice Fepuleai Ameperosa Roma.
This case is in connection to an incident that occurred in Fogapoa last month over a land dispute that led to the alleged deadly shooting of a man and his son.
The wife of the young man that died, was also injured when she attempted to save her husband.
This matter is now scheduled on 1 August 2022.
