The Ministry of Public Enterprises has advertised the Chief Executive Officer position for the Samoa Public Trust Office.
This was confirmed in a statement issued.
The current Trustee is Leaupepe Peleseuma Mata’utai Ropati.
The principal purpose of the Office, set out in the Public Trust Office Act is to administer estates, efficient management of estate and trust funds and preparation of wills. Its purpose is to offer professional, independent Estate and Trustee Services to the Samoan community.
According to the applicant package, the Trustee should articulate a clear vision of the Office and inspires a sense of shared purpose and direction.
Also to drive the authority’s vision and long-term direction to achieve government and agency objectives and ensure improved services to the community. Furthermore consider emerging trends and multiple perspectives when assessing the impact of key issues and identify long-term opportunities and viable solutions and the ability to acquire and administer resources in a manner that instills public trust and accomplishes the Office’s goals.
The deadline for interested applicants to apply is 23 January, next year.
