Ombudsman upgrades website

In effort to be more accessible to the public, the Office of the Ombudsman recently upgraded and launched its official website.
This was confirmed in a statement issued by the Office of the Ombudsman.
The event was held at the Office premises with Ombudsman Luamanuvao Katalaina Sapolu clicking the live button for the website to officially go live.
It was a fitting end to conclude the New Zealand Chief Ombudsman’s visit to Samoa last week.
“The Office website was first created in 2013 and has undergone a review in 2019.
“However, with the consistently high number of the public accessing the Office through its website including lodging complaints, the website underwent a full revamped in the last 6 months.
“A few key features include Samoa translation mode, mobile friendly and the website can be accessed from any technology device.
“The website is updated regularly with Office activities and events, the process handling complaints including an online complaint form, resources and publications including human rights and annual reports, and media releases.
