In April this year the Ott Construction Company has been awarded over $20 million of the Rehabilitation of the West Coast Road project for two lots from Malua to Faleolo.
This was confirmed on a notice of tenders awarded for the project under the financial year 2022/2023 publicized on the Ministry of Finance website.
The implementing agency is the Land Transport Authority. The first lot is $13.62 million tala and the second lot is for $6.65 million.
Three companies placed bids for this major infrastructure, aside from Ott Construction Company, were China Civil Engineering Construction Company and Ulia Construction.
According to the LTA, the Malua – Faleolo project is financed under the Samoa Climate Resilient Transport Project (SCRTP).
