Parliament session scheduled for tomorrow 29 March has been postponed until further notice.
This was outlined in a statement issued by Speaker of the House, Li’o Papalii Taeu Masipa’u in a notice posted over the weekend.
The Speaker says Parliament should also adhere to the mandates stipulated under the State of Emergency Orders and observer the Government’s lockdown set until 5 April 2022 and measures put in place to slow down the rapid spread of the community cases of COVID 19.
As of this morning, more than 1,200 cases have been recorded.
