The first week of January recorded the death of a 23-year-old man who drowned while fishing in Sapulu, Salelologa.
The Ministry of Police and Prisons confirmed that Police divers recovered the body of a 23-year-old male from Sapulu Salelologa on Saturday after he went missing on Thursday from a fishing trip.
Samoa Police, Prisons and Corrections Services is continuing investigations into this matter.
