Police warns against car parades without permit

The recent display by car clubs at the heart of Apia has prompted the Ministry of Police and Prisons to issue a stern warning against illegal parades without permits. 

According to the Ministry of Police and Prisons

that any organization of car club that wishes to conduct a vehicle parade support to Toa o Samoa, must apply and obtain a permit from the Police beforehand. 

The public is also advised that the inappropriate use of national flags as observed in previous parades is prohibited.

Furthermore, the Ministry of Police and Prisons says the parades should be conducted in accordance with the permit conditions for the safety of everyone involved.
