The Public Service Commission has advertised the position of the Chief Executive Officer of the Ministry of Justice & Courts Administration, which is currently held by Moliei Simi Vaai.
A special advertisement by the PSC says qualified interested applicants are invited to apply. The salary ranges from $121,197.00 to $125,526.00 per annum. The deadline is 12 August, 2022.
According to the advertisement, the position is on a contractual basis for three (3) years and is advertised at the end of each 3-year term.
All Application Packages can be uplifted from the Office of the Public Service Commission.
Mrs. Vaai was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer in 2019, after being shortlisted among seven applicants.
Cabinet at that time in its deliberations took into account, the Review Panels’ finding which noted that she had the highest Academic Qualifications complemented by her 16 years of experience with New Zealand’s High Court.
A 1980 Samoa College alumni and former Deputy Head Girl, she is also a Massey University graduate with an MBA in Business Administration and Management.
Her 16 years of public service include 9 years as Manager of Civil Division with the New Zealand High Court, Auckland.
As Manager of Civil, High Court she had a staff of 30 under her portfolio.
