Qantas will operate services between Samoa and Australia every Tuesday throughout the months of August and September.
This was confirmed in a statement issued by the Australian Embassy in Samoa. Bookings are now open for travel between Samoa and Australia in August and September.
These flights are operated under Australia’s Pacific Flights Program says the statement. Also advises ensuring travellers are familiarized with the latest entry requirements for Australia and Samoa.
“Before you book and before travel, ensure you check the latest government travel requirements, which may include mandatory health declarations, vaccinations, use of face masks, entry permits, pre-approval, and quarantine (possibly at your own expense), or you could be denied entry.”
Earlier this month, Australia announced that all travellers should be aware that, people entering Australia do not need to provide evidence of vaccination status.
“Australia no longer needs to complete the Digital Passenger Declaration or Maritime Travel Declaration.
“People leaving Australia will not be asked to provide evidence of their vaccination status. “Unvaccinated visa holders do not need a travel exemption to travel to Australia, however, masks are still required on flights travelling to Australia.”
