Today marks 34 years since the establishment of Radio Polynesia. Owned by the Late Maposua Rudolf Keil, it is now managed by Papaliitele Olga and Maposua Korey Keil.

Radio Polynesia was established in 1989, and it consists of four Radio Stations from its Savalalo Headquarters in Apia. Last year saw several changes to the radio station with Radio Polynesia, aside from launching its news website on radiopolynesialtd.com.

Radio Polynesia is now available on Digicel’s goLoud App on PlayStore and Apple, which can be downloaded for free, and you can stream live.

The five radio stations for choosing range from Talofa FM with a targeted audience of all ages, and it operates on three different frequencies, 88.5 / 99.9 / 91.5, which maximizes the coverage across Samoa. There’s also Malo FM on 105.3, which is bilingual; Magik FM 98.1/89.5 – and is Samoa’s top 40 station, catering to the younger listeners.

Star FM 96.1 FM plays a lot of music from the ’70s & ’80s, the ’90s, and hits of today, while K-LITE FM 101.1 caters to those who enjoy listening to music from the 1920s to easy listening hits.
