Samoans all over the world are rallying behind their “Toa Samoa” when they play for the first time at the Rugby League World Cup this weekend against Australia at Old Trafford football stadium in Greater Manchester, England.
In support of the Toa Samoa, there is a significant event planned today in front of the Government building, by the Sleeping Giant in partnership with Rugby League Samoa.
President Tagaloa Faafouina Su’a announced they will be recording “the largest Siva Tau ever so show our boys and the world how proud we are of them,” he said.
“Toa’s success is not only the team players’ hard work but most importantly the backing they have received from their homeland Samoa, that they are representing, and thousands of Samoans across the globe.”
