Rehabilitation of West Coast Road projects up for tender, from Faleolo to Vailuutai

The Government is proceeding with the Rehabilitation of West Coast Road in two phases, from Faleolo to Vailuutai and Vailuutai to West Circuit. 

In doing so the Land Transport Authority has put out a tender for the said projects with the deadline set on 7 November 2022. 

According to a statement issued on the tender is that funding has been received from the World Bank towards the cost of the Samoa Climate Resilience Transport Project (SCRTP). 

The proposed works have been packaged into 2 Lots comprising, site clearance along the road alignment including through easements; construction of the earthworks for the new road; construction of new stormwater drainage with associated catch pits, manholes, headwalls, and outfall drains, including outfalls through easements; construction of Sea Walls (Rock Revetment); installation of traffic signs and pavement markings.

This is part of LTA’s development projects on road infrastructure in Upolu.
