A Samoa College graduate, Dvora Oswald has been enlisted into the United States Armed Forces.
A statement released by the US embassy in Samoa confirmed the oath of office taken by Ms Oswald. She said it had been her dream to become an Officer of the Naval Academy.
The U.S. Navy is one of the first steps toward achieving my dream of becoming an Officer, just as her father, Robert Patrick Oswald, once did in his professional military service career.
Born in American Samoa, Ms. Dvora Oswald attended Pesega Middle School and High School and completed the final Senior years (Years 12 & 13) of her education at Samoa College.
