Suspects in LMS school compound burglary appears in court

Two men appeared in the Supreme Court on charges of burglary and stealing in relation to the alleged break-in at the LMS school compound. 

The criminal mentioned was presided over by her Honours Niava Mata Keli Tuatagaloa where Molesi Maiava 45, and Leni Maiava 25, from Vaitele fou and Tafaigata, appeared. 

The men allegedly broke into the school compound and stole a lawnmower, guitar, and speakers. All these items are valued at close to $5,000. 

Leni has entered a plea of not guilty during the criminal mention, and he is remanded in the custody of the Police.

Molesi had since been released on his own recognizance with conditions that he signs at the Faleata Police Outpost on Fridays until the hearing date scheduled on the 4th of December. Leni’s case is scheduled for a hearing on 19 December 2023.
