Travelers on the inter-Samoa route will soon have a second choice in air service.
Talofa Airways has confirmed it will begin flights between Samoa and American Samoa next Monday.
93KHj reported the privately owned airline suspended flights early this year after the community spread of Covid-19.
President of the Airline Toleafoa Jeffrey Hunter said resuming service is like starting a new airline: “setting up, hiring workers, training, the works.”
Residents of both Samoa have been asking when Talofa Airways will be back in service as the current seat capacity on Samoa Airways hasn’t met demand.
Talofa Airways will begin accepting bookings at its office in Apia today and also online at talofaairways.com.
Toleafoa says flights to Tonga will resume later.
