Tender for Savalalo Flea Market Redevelopment Project advertised

The Samoa Land Corporation has put out the Savalalo Flea Market Redevelopment Project tender. It is co-funded by the New Zealand Government with a $20 million tala contribution and $10 million tala input from the Government of Samoa through the Samoa Land Corporation.

The tender will go through the SLC as the Implementing Agent, and invites bids are available for the “Design and Build” Project for the new “Savalalo Flea Market Redevelopment” project in Apia.

Bid Documents are available on the Samoa Land Corporation website.

 There are registration requirements that bidders must comply with, and these are also included on the same website. Closing date of submission; Monday 04 September 2023, at 11.00 am. 

The old Savalalo Flea Market was closed permanently for business last month for the implementation of the new flea market project.

In May, the contract for the Project Manager of $1.11 million tala for the Savalalo new flea market was signed.

Cabinet awarded the contract to Tinai, Gordon & Associates Limited – TGA Ltd to manage and oversee the whole spectrum of the Savalalo Project from the pre-tendering, procurement, detail design and construction stages leading to the successful completion of the New Market.
