Three passengers from a bus crash over the weekend in Fagaloa remain in critical condition at the Moto’otua national hospital.
Police Commissioner Auapa’au Logoigtino Filipo confirmed this in response to Radio Polynesia questions.
The Tuisamau Transport Company bus flipped over when it was climbing uphill and landed all its passengers in the hospital.
Auapa’au said the bus driver had been discharged and that police investigations are continuing into this matter prior to taking any appropriate actions.
He said the bus carried more than 20 passengers.
