The Samoa Spinal Network (SSN) is an organization focused on improving the well-being of wheel-chair-bound individuals resulting from spinal cord injuries and diseases.
In an aim to improve the leadership skills of its members and caregivers, the SSN initiated its first Leadership Training that builds morale, and improves self-confidence and public speaking skills.
The training was designed and facilitated by Fatuaiupu Consult combining; Good Governance, Break Through Initiative & Cultural Artistry of Vaogagana o Fesootaiga to enable Persons with Disabilities like those with spinal injuries in leadership skills relevant to Samoan community contexts.
The training is funded in partnership between the SSN & MWCSD through the Samoa Disability Partnership Program (SDPP) supported by DFAT Australia.
