Cabinet at its meeting on Wednesday, 2nd August, 2023, approved the recommendation from the Panel to reappoint Tuifa’asisina Sieni Tualega – Voorwinden to the position of Chief Executive Officer of the Samoa International Finance Authority. This will be her second term in office.
Tuifaasisina a lawyer by profession holds a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws degrees from Auckland University.
From the village of Falelatai, she was first appointed to the position in 2020. Before that, she worked at SIFA for over ten years and as Assistant Chief Executive Officer for Registration and Legal for six years.
The daughter of Mrs. Situli Tualega and the late Malaetele Ve’a Tualega, Tuifaasisina is married to Mr. Barney Voorwinden and they have four children.
