Tupa’i Peter Peilua is SQA’s new CEO

Cabinet has appointed Tupa’i Peter Peilua as the new Chief Executive Officer for the Samoa Qualification Authority (S.Q.A.).
Tupa’i has served and gained most relevant experience in senior management and leadership roles for 18 years in the New Zealand public sector and for 10 years in Samoa.
He holds a Bachelor degree in Education and Post Graduate in Education.
Tupa’i takes over the position that was held by Leali’ifano Easter Manila Silipa who resigned in July this year to take up the Country Manager position for the Australia Pacific Training Coalition (A.P.T.C.) Vocational Training Manager for the Samoa and Tonga Country Office. 

She left the SQA after taking the helm as CEO in 2020.
