Two men were arrested following a drug raid in Ti’avea this past Friday, where Police discovered marijuana and guns.
This was confirmed by Police Commissioner, Auapa’au Logoitino Filipo in response to questions from Radio Polynesia.
Auapa’au said more than 20 Police Officers were part of the raid where a search warrant was executed.
The two men have been charged with unlawful possession of narcotics and unlawful possession of illegal firearms.
They are scheduled to appear in court later this month.
According to the Police Commissioner, there is a possibility that more charges will be filed in this matter.
