The Ministry of Police and Prisons has issued a “wanted” notice for two women in connection to a stealing case in town two weeks ago.
This was confirmed by Police Commissioner Auapa’au Logoitino Filipo in response to questions from Radio Polynesia.
He said efforts by police were unsuccessful to track down the two women hence putting it on social media and to date they have received tips from members of the public on their whereabouts, but at the time of this news bulletin, the women remain at large.
The Police Commissioner urged the public to call in if they know any information about the two women in question.
The investigation of this case is being handled by the Criminal Investigation Division.
