For today’s vaccination rollout program, health teams are stationed at five different locations, Vaimoso Primary School; Marist Brothers; St Mary’s School; Lepea Primary School and Chanel College.
The Ministry of Health says the vaccines available are the paediatric Pfizer Vaccination: 5-11years for the first dose only; Pfizer Vaccination: 12-17years, first and second dose only and booster for 18+ years, with a minimum of three months since completing the first two doses of Covid-19).
On Vaccination Day the public is advised to bring vaccination card; ensure that you and your child wear masks and ensure that you or your child has had breakfast and is well hydrated, also provide a copy of birth certificate or passport to confirm your vaccination records.
Also, wear loose clothing for easy access to the upper arm.
The fixed sites are also open, EPI building opposite Seb and Rene at Motootua; MOH Credentialing Centre – Motootua; Health Centre – Matagialalua and all District hospitals in Upolu.
