“The 2030 Agenda was a major breakthrough for the anti-corruption movement as it emphasizes the importance of promoting transparency, accountability and anti-corruption for sustainable development, and makes an explicit link between corruption, peace and just and inclusive societies through SDG 16. Integration of SDG Goal 16 to promote just, peaceful and inclusive societies, anti-corruption, transparency and accountability is necessary to achieve and sustain all SDGs.
